I'm not new to painting in general although I don't yet feel confident using oil paint. But I'm going to be using either that or acrylic paint and after my last large (50x100cm)acrylic painting was frustrating me, I'd rather use the former.

So the painting will the final peice of my art project and so needs to be large(70x90cm)and complex and should be completed by the end of the month. I'm mainly using a photo refrence but also first-hand observation. The painting will depict a table with a crumpled table cloth which will support flowers in a glass vase/container with a skeleton hand holding an apple, a lobster sitting on a skull over open books.

I don't really have any specific questions but would like to 'see' how an oil painter would approach the painting, layer paint and add detial etc. sorry for all the writing and thanks for replying Timo(btw would you rather be called T or Timo?).
